Perfect platforms for spring

Perfect platforms for spring
This selection is about platforms.
They are still IN IN IN, moreover, for this spring designers have taken some of the platform ideas to extremes. And I love that.
This selection consists of shoes I am deeply in love with.
First of all, this selection is my way to express adoration for Nicholas Kirkwood, who has created some exceptional pieces this season. I have decided to include both a piece from his main collection and a piece for Rodarte, which I personally consider a piece of art.
Another hot thing on the list is Givenchy zip-embellished sandals, for which I don’t even have words to express fondness.
Also, take a look at Surface to Air extremely tall platform sandals, a perfect match between SM and 90’s.
Another thing. Don’t even try to prove me wrong! Any piece of footwear from Christopher Kane SS 11 collection is a masterpiece! I can look at them for hours. They are an absolut must!
And, of course, I couldn’t miss the new Louboutins. Ahh, perfection...
Also, check out the cute and funny geometric-print Carven pumps. A great combination of true Parisian chic and playfulness.

Color block shoes

Color block shoes
Now the color block! This is, probably, the most talked-about trend of the spring.
To me, there’s nothing more fashionable than a bright accent in a reserved or dark-colored look, be it shoes or a bag.
Now we’re talking shoes.
This season designers are crazy for colorful accents. Probably, the most obvious color game was presented at Jil Sander SS 11 show - a perfect example of perfect color matching.
My selection includes all the colorful shoes a true fashionista should notice.
Four exceptional pieces that are sure to brighten any day!

Amazing summer wedges

Amazing summer wedges
Wedges, wedges, wedges... Never enough of them.
I think this season the Wedge Rush is continuing, and, in fact, takes bigger scale.
Designers offer us all kinds of wedges, and I’m proud to present the most outstanding selection, in my view.
Just take a look at the McQueen ones! Aren’t they a masterpiece? Or aren’t Theysken’s Theory velvet wedges adorable?
I included Pierre Hardy and Jil Sander wedges here, but they can also represent the color block trend with their amazing bright color accents.
And I can never pass by Surface to Air shoes. Everything they do is fabulous.
So, enjoy!
